This is part of what the bottom of the Turnagain Arm Inset looks like, it is volcanic silt.
The Turnagain Arm is almost drained in this picture.
This is the begining of the Turnagain Arm Inset, it is a branch off the Cook Inlet which goes into Anchorage. When the tide goes out it completly drais of water.
We were part way up Hutchins pass looking back down. I would say we were about a thousand feet up the pass.
